The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have written a letter following the end of the hearing which has recently taken place as part of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in the Diocese of Chichester. They affirm the Church’s ongoing commitment to ensure the Church of England is a safe place for all who join in worship, mission and ministry and request our prayers for all involved and affected by safeguarding issues at this time.
