A great morning was had by all who came to the Christmas Workshop at Garsington on Saturday 9th December. A collaboration between St Mary’s and the school, the workshop put on different activities for children of primary school age and their parents. The decorated biscuits, made Christmas cards and decorations, as well as making a large art collage which will become the altar frontal for Christmas in the church. There was also a treasure hunt round the playing fields and the opportunity to build your own cardboard shelter and imagine what it would be like to be homeless at this time of year. the morning ended with carol singing.
Thanks go to the Head Zara and all who lead the activities, as well as those who came.
