the best fruit seems to be hidden under leaves, tucked behind a stinging nettle or just out of our reach. This year the hedgerows have been laden with fruit that it seems such a shame to have to walk past bushes where the small black berries have rotted away.  Such is the sheer abundance and generosity of God.  This year we held our first Harvest lunch in the church on 16th September to which we invited members of the lunch club and Good Neighbours.  It was a great event and the spread stunning thanks to the many people who brought bread and cheese to share.  We ended the lunch with a simple act of thanksgiving.  Thanks go to Robin and Eileen Frazer who helped organise it and to all who attended.
