On the evening of 24th July over 40 people gathered in All Saint’s church, as the rain thundered down outside, to enjoy drinks and canapés and the new Hatchment which hangs over the Bishop’s north door into the church. John Hawkins, a heraldic expert, who was involved in the restoration gave a speech on its significance and Robert Wilson, the churchwarden, behind the whole project spoke on the process of restoration over the last few years. Many of the donors to the project were present and thanked for their contribution.
