A wonderful day was had by all who came to the Garsington fete on Saturday 27th June. The sun shone all day. As in recent years the fete was held in three areas: the grounds of the Rectory gardens where there were all the usual stalls and raffle; the grounds of the Well House for games and a bouncy castle; and the church where you could find tea and an exhibition of local photography. New for this year was the archery team who gave a mini training session on the skill of archery and 3 or 5 arrows to shoot. Also the Village choir gave a brilliant performance of old and new songs. The total raised for the church was a record breaking £2,700. Thanks go to everyone who was involved and in particular to the fete committee headed up by Sue Leahy and Lorna Stevenson.
