Once again Year 2 from Garsington School not only presented St Mary’s with a beautiful Harvest loaf for the Harvest Festival on Sunday 12th October but also grew the wheat, threshed it, winnowed it and ground it in a coffee grinder to make the flour that went to make up the loaf.
It was presented at a special service on the Friday before and then used at the Harvest Service as the Communion bread. It became the centre piece of the festivities and the church community were very grateful to the children for their hard work and generosity.
